2023 has brought a tremendous amount of change to our household. Including some major career shifts for both of us. In June we merged our business of 20 years with another company. Jim has taken a manager position with the new company and Robin has stepped back into fulltime teaching in fourth grade.

Spring of 2024 will be bringing another large shift to our household as our youngest will graduate high school and prepare to head to college.

These changes along with some hiccups in getting accommodations for a spring 2024 retreat worked out, has us stepping back for the spring of 2024.

After many difficult conversations and seeking direction, we have decided to not host a marriage retreat this spring. We believe a year sabbatical is where we are being led. We hope to use some of this time to refocus and our desire is to return in Spring of 2025 with new retreat materials.

We have been so thankful for all those that attend faithfully each year. Please keep focused on your marriages and growing together with the Lord.

Perhaps you would use this time to attend a “Weekend to Remember” retreat through Family Life, or maybe you will dust off your vision retreat booklet and schedule your own retreat away. If you enjoyed the Jimmy Evans materials, look up XO Marriage – you’ll find many video clips, etc. that you can watch and keep your marriage tuned up.
